This link provides the definition of design language which is a tool that designers use to communicate designs, plans and intentions to each other and to the users of their artifacts. According to Gibbons & Brewer, 2005:111, "design languages, formal intuitive, lie at the heart of all design and development processes and tools". It is submitted that, a design language is an overarching scheme for style that guides the design of a complement of products or architectural settings. Designers wishing to give their suite of products a unique but consistent look and feel define a design language or it, which can describe choices for design aspects such as materials, color schemes, shapes, patterns, textures or layouts. They then follow the scheme in the design of each object in the suite. Therefore, this link is relevant for the introduction of this assignment.
