Thank God. I have now finalized my thoughtful ideas. Basically, my final conclusive idea is that I will be illustrating the lessons learned from the World War II through some Vinyl Records. Hence, I shall now wish to explore on this idea as it was approved and agreed by my lecturer.
Basically, I have typewritten the lessons learned scenes that I wish to do, so that it will be much easier for me to illustrate with no mistakes later on. This is how it plainly goes...
LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE WORLD WAR II
1. We learned to stop/prevent a problem before it became a World crisis. One
mistake made before World War II was that Hitler was not forced to abide by the
rules set against Germany after World War I. If a country had stepped up and
stopped him from building his army (which was in direct violation of the treaty
of Versailles) then we wouldn't have had the huge Nazi army to deal with.
2. We learned that by working together we could
conquer any foe.
3. We learned that sometimes drastic measures
and decisions must be made in order to protect the world as a whole. Yes the
numbers killed by the atomic bombs were devastating; however, when you compare them to the MILLIONS the Japanese
murdered (and now I'm not talking about soldiers. I'm talking about civilians especially
the Chinese) then they don't really compare.
4.We learned new strategies in war to better
prepare us for next time. (and as long as man is alive there will always be a
next time).
5. Finally, we were reminded that freedom isn't
free.
Besides that, my plan now is to illustrate these 5 scenes that I have stated above. I will be using 3 specific acrylic paints which comprises of Red, Black and White. The reason I chose these 3 colors, is to convey a message which is related to my theme. The first color is Red to describe "Blood" to indicate that many casualties during the war that have taken the lives of the personnel and civilians whereas Black and White denote that this war happened during the era of 30's - 40's (classic).
I am going to install this project and during the Installation process, I will be illustrating these 5 scenes in a GIF style which comprises of 10 frames for each scenes on the record (5 separate records). Let me explain what is GIF. GIF is a loss less format for image files that supports both animated and static images. I bet most of you guys know what is GIF now.
