Internet Cultures - Brief Explanation + Introduction on Topic 3

Brief Explanation and Introduction on the Internet:

Topic 3: How did mobile devices change the way people use the internet? Consider its consumer impact and relate them to a specific creative industry/profession.

Before embarking further on the chosen topic, allow me to explain the importance to have a good comprehension and understanding of the chosen topic which is "Internet". What is Internet? According to Google, an internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link devices across the globe.

Before I pursue further in depth with the question at hand, let's go way back in the beginning era of 1990's when the regime of internet usage has changed from the past 25 years ago, when there weren't any smartphones or even internet accessibility and since then a lot of things have changed. Now we could not even remember when was the last time we actually use our smartphones for a whole day with either packet data or WIFI. Mobile smart devices and mobile internet are changing the way we do things and how we connect with other people.

Currently, with the internet everything are much easier than ever in terms of accessibility and networking compared to back then, where so much information can be disseminated from the internet because it provides all sort of information and contemporary issues/news. It has made the internet a very important and recognized tool globally since it has provided the world with so much information and entertainment thus making it easier for the consumers to obtain information. Therefore, internet is one of the most unique and recognized inventions globally because it has eased the work both physically and psychologically.

To recapitulate, the internet coupled with the use mobile apps compared back then and now have completely changed the way the consumers live, work and learn and it has made the world grow in a right direction in terms of cultural, social, political and economical spectrums.
